The Church Endorsed Same-sex Marriages
Next time you are having a conversation with someone and they insist that same-sex unions are against church teachings, just point them toward this article. John Boswell wrote a book about the history of same-sex marriages and how the church has actually sanctioned these marriages for centuries.

I assume the "church" you talk about is the Catholic church. Their dogma is in clear contradiction to the Bible. For example, calling a priest "father" contradicts what Jesus said in Matthew 23:9: And call no man father on earth, for you have one Father who is in heaven.

Then you have the years of Papal corruption. Everything from illegitimate children to murder.
